In honoring a continued effort to support our service men and women, the Raiders made a surprise visit to the U.S. Coast Guard Base Alameda galley to help serve lunch to our military troops. Following lunch, players toured a U.S. Coast Guard vessel to see the living quarters and interact with the men and women that live on board. The Raiders presented to the U.S. Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officers Association a $5,000 grant to support a variety of needs from emergency assistance and crises intervention, to promoting the welfare of those in the Coast Guard family.

The Raiders celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by partnering with a local Ballet Folklorico performance group to educate local youth about the history of Ballet Folklorico and its significance to the heritage of Mexico & Latin American culture.
