100 Days of 100 Jersey Numbers - 62

Only five players have worn No. 62 in Raiders history, including a dominant nose tackle and a durable, all-purpose offensive lineman.

For a total of 100 days, we'll take a look at the men who have played for the Raiders jersey number by jersey number. This series will highlight some of the greatest players in NFL history. In some cases, the player and jersey number are synonymous. In other cases, the jersey number represents sustained greatness at a particular position. Some players are superstitious about their jersey number. Whatever the case may be, jersey numbers are an important part of the fabric of professional football.

Only five players have worn No. 62 in Raiders history, including a dominant nose tackle and a durable, all-purpose offensive lineman.

Adam Treu played for the Raiders from 1997-06.

Bob Kruse – G – 1967-68

The Raiders selected Kruse in the 12th round of the 1967 NFL Draft. He played in 25 games for the Raiders and went on to play for Buffalo in 1969.

Reggie Kinlaw – NT – 1979-84

The Raiders selected Kinlaw in the 12th round of the 1979 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma. The anchor of the Raiders 3-4 defense, Kinlaw played in 98 games with 57 starts and was a key member of the Raiders 1980 and 1983 Super Bowl-winning squads.

Shawn Regent – C – 1987

Regent joined the Raiders in 1987 and played in three games with three starts.

Adam Treu – OL – 1997-06

The Raiders selected Treu in the 3rd round of the 1997 NFL Draft. During his career with the Raiders, he was the full-time long-snapper and he played every position along the offensive line. He played in 155 games with 44 starts. Treu didn’t miss a regular season game until the last season of his career in 2006.

Jeremy Newberry – C – 2007

Newberry joined the Raiders after seven years in San Francisco. He played in 14 games with 14 starts and went on to play one season in San Diego.
