Wide Receivers Michael Crabtree & Amari Cooper

No matter who you are, we’re all prone to Twitter trolls, and boy are they everywhere.

People can say some pretty harsh things, but at the end of the day you can’t help but laugh. This is something professional athletes are all too aware of; whether they’re a fantasy player on someone’s team, have a bad performance in a game, or just for the sake of it, athletes are attacked on social media for a number of reasons.

While some people could take the insults personally, Jimmy Kimmel Live takes a light-hearted approach to “Mean Tweets.” You may be familiar with the popular skit, but in case you aren’t, celebrities, athletes, and public figures sit in front of a camera and read hurtful tweets directly targeted toward them. Recently, the show had a handful of current, and former, NFL players to participate in the skit, which featured Oakland Raiders wide receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree.
