Olawale is the second player the Raiders have signed from another team’s practice squad this season, following DB
The 6-1, 240-pound rookie was in training camp with the Cowboys and was signed to the team’s practice squad on Sept. 2. He originally signed with Dallas as a non-drafted free agent out of North Texas on May 14.
Olawale, whose name is pronounced juh-MAZE oh-lah-WALL-ee, played two years at North Texas, recording eight receptions for 88 yards and helping the Mean Green record 2,112 rushing yards as a senior. He transferred to North Texas from El Camino Junior College, the same school that Raiders FB
