Fiesta Latina will offer a variety of Hispanic musical performances before the game, including mariachis and a traditional Ballet Folklorico show.

The Oakland Raiders kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month on Tuesday with an event at Think Now College Elementary School in Oakland (29th Avenue and International Blvd).

Raiders LBs Aaron Curry, Carl Ihenacho and Kaelin Burnett; Raiderettes Natalie, Brandi participated in a Gatorade Junior Training Camp with “Playworks” and launched the NFL’s “Hispanic Heritage Month,” which the Raiders will continue to celebrate on Sunday afternoon, September 23 with the 11th Annual Fiesta Latina, presented by Bud Light, when the Silver and Black take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at O.co Coliseum.

Fiesta Latina, presented by Bud Light, will offer a variety of Hispanic musical performances before the game, including mariachis and a traditional Ballet Folklorico show.

Special events during the game include Spanish radio calls played in-stadium, the presentation of flags from Spanish speaking countries, and a special in-game performance by the band WAR, which recently performed in Washington D.C. at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Anniversary Gala for Vice President Joe Biden and met with President Barack Obama.

The Raiders will also honor Olga Talamante, Executive Director of the Chicana Latina Foundation, with the NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award at the game.
