The Oakland Raiders have signed unrestricted free agent OL Kevin Boothe, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Monday.

Boothe has started all 16 games in each of the past two seasons at various positions along the offensive line for the New York Giants. The eight-year veteran started 10 games at left guard and six at center last season. For his career, Boothe has played in 105 games with 62 starts at both guard positions, right tackle and center.

Boothe was originally selected in the sixth round (176th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Raiders and played his first stint with the team in 2006. In his rookie season, the 6-foot-5, 320-pounder appeared in all 16 games, starting 14 at right guard.

From 2007-13 as a member of the Giants, Boothe helped the team win two Super Bowls and reach the playoffs three times. He has also appeared in 9 postseason games with four starts in his career.

The Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native attended Cornell, where he was a four-year starter along the offensive line. At Cornell, became only the fourth Cornell player to earn All-Ivy League honors three times.
