The Oakland Raiders are teaming up with the organization Police and Fire: The Fallen Heroes to recognize and pay tribute to first responders from in and around the Bay Area during Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Members from 20 Northern California police and fire departments have dedicated their time to participate in a very special on field recognition, which will include the presentation of the United States colors by Oakland Fire Department’s Honor Guard as well as a performance of the “Star Spangled Banner” by Oakland Fire Department Captain Larry Sampson.

Police and Fire: The Fallen Heroes is a Bay Area-based nonprofit organization currently dedicated to providing relief in a variety of ways to those family members who have lost their beloved heroes in the line of duty.
