300 THROUGH THE AIR: QB Bruce Gradkowski threw for a career-high 308 yards at Pittsburgh on December 6. The total topped his previous career-high of 225 passing yards set when he was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006, and marked the first time since 2007 that a Raiders quarterback has thrown for 300 or more yards in a single game. Gradkowski also set career-highs with three touchdown passes and a 75-yard completion in the win over the Steelers.

FARGAS CRACKS TOP 10: Running back Justin Fargas passed Charlie Smith to move into ninth place on the Raiders’ all-time rushing list. Fargas has led the Raiders in rushing the past three years. In 2007, Fargas rushed for a career-high 1,009 yards and four touchdowns despite missing the last two weeks of the season due to injury. He came off the bench against Miami and set a single-game career high with 179 yards on September 30, 2007.
10 POINTS IN 18 SECONDS: The Raiders scored a touchdown, extra point and a game-winning field goal within an 18-second span during the Raiders’ 20-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on November 22 at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. QB Bruce Gradkowski led the Raiders in an 11-play, 80-yard drive culminating with a 29-yard scoring toss to rookie WR Louis Murphy with 33 seconds left in the game and Janikowski’s PAT tied the score at 17. After the Raiders recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff, Janikowski converted on a 33-yard field goal with 15 second remaining in the game to provide the margin of victory.

45 OR LONGER: K Sebastian Janikowski connected on a 54-yard field goal during the December 20 contest at Denver versus the Broncos marking the ninth time in the 2009 regular season that the veteran kicker has converted on a field goal of 45 or more yards. Janikowski has converted a field goal of at least 50 yards four times in the past six games.
