The Raiders dropped a 42-32 decision to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at O.co Coliseum on Sunday, snapping a two-game winning streak for Silver and Black.

Oakland’s 32 points were the second most scored by the team in a single game this season. The team scored 34 points in a win over Pittsburgh on Sept. 23.

The Silver and Black had 402 net passing yards, marking a season-high and most since 417 at the end of last season vs. San Diego, Jan. 1, 2012.

Palmer piloted a four-play, 71-yard scoring drive near the end of the first half, connecting with WR Rod Streater to give the Silver and Black a 10-7 lead entering halftime. It marked the fourth time this season that the Raiders have entered halftime with a lead.

The Raiders scored in the final two minutes of the first half for the eighth straight game this season following Streater’s 25-yard touchdown reception with 1:20 left before halftime.

The Silver and Black has now scored 40 points in the final two minutes of the first half this season.

Sunday’s game marked the third straight for the Raiders against a well-rested opponent. The Buccaneers were on nine days rest on Sunday, last playing on Oct. 25 at Minnesota.

Sunday’s result marked the first time that the Buccaneers have defeated the Raiders at home.

Individual Notes

QB Carson Palmer attempted a career-high 61 passes, completing 39 for 414 yards and four touchdowns. Palmer’s previous career high was 52, set vs. Baltimore on Sept. 26, 2004, and matched on Nov. 18, 2007, vs. Arizona, both with Cincinnati.

Palmer’s 414 passing yards marks his second-highest total as a Raider, falling just 3 yards short of his 417 vs. San Diego on Jan. 1, 2012. His total is the fourth-highest single-game mark in franchise history, passing Tom Flores’ 407 passing yards against the Houston Oilers on Dec. 22, 1963.

Palmer’s attempts and completions both rank second in franchise history to Rich Gannon’s 43-for-64 effort on Sept. 15, 2002, at Pittsburgh.

Palmer’s four touchdown passes marked his highest single-game total as a Raider, and the most since throwing four as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 26, 2010, vs. San Diego.

Palmer connected with 10 targets, with seven of those players recording multiple catches.

Palmer extended his franchise-record streak of passing for 200 or more yards in a game to 14 consecutive contests.

FB Marcel Reece registered career highs in both receptions (eight) and receiving yards (95). He eclipsed his previous career highs of five receptions and 92 yards, both established on Nov. 27, 2011, vs. Chicago.

TE Brandon Myers hauled in a career-high eight receptions, for 59 yards, and recording his first two career touchdown receptions.

Myers, who leads the team with 39 receptions, scored on a diving 4-yard effort and a 1-yard catch in the fourth quarter.

Myers’ two touchdown catches marked the first time a Raider tight end has hauled in two scores in a single game since Courtney Anderson accomplished the feat on Sept. 8, 2005, at New England.

Myers’ 39 receptions are his most in a season at any level. He had 34 as a senior at Iowa in 2008, and a school-record 33 at Prairie City-Monroe High School as a prep senior in 2003.

In the fourth quarter, Myers caught five passes for 28 yards and two touchdowns. He entered the game tied for seventh in the NFL with 15 fourth-quarter receptions.

DE Andre Carter recorded his first sack as a Raider, forcing a fumble by Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman on Tampa Bay’s first offensive possession of the game. It marked the 77^th career sack for Carter, who entered the game ranked eighth among the NFL’s active sack leaders. His last sack was Dec. 11, 2011, at Washington, with New England. He also forced a fumble in that game.

DE Lamarr Houston blocked a 35-yard field-goal attempt in the first quarter and returned the block 34 yards to Tampa Bay’s 44-yard line. It was the first career block for Houston and the first by a Raider since Richard Seymour blocked two field-goal attempts on Dec. 24, 2011, at Kansas City.

K Sebastian Janikowski kicked a 29-yard field goal in the first quarter, extending his streak of consecutive field goals from 40 yards or less to 47. He has not missed a field-goal attempt from 40 or fewer yards since Sept. 26, 2010, at Arizona.

Janikowski also has converted 117 consecutive PATs, having last missed a point-after Dec. 14, 2008, vs. New England.

WR Denarius Moore hauled in a 21-yard pass from QB Carson Palmer in the second quarter and added a 26-yard catch in the fourth quarter, marking the fourth time in five games that Moore has recorded a reception of 20 yards or more. He posted a season-long 58-yard catch-and-run at Kansas City on Oct. 28.

QB Carson Palmer and WR Derek Hagan connected on a 47-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter that was negated due to a holding penalty. The reception would have marked the longest of Hagan’s career.

P Shane Lechler completed a 4-yard pass to RB Taiwan Jones on a fake punt in the second quarter. It marked the second completion on four career pass attempts for Lechler, who connected with TE Kevin Boss on a 35-yard touchdown pass on Oct. 16, 2011, vs. Cleveland.

RB Taiwan Jones’ reception of Lechler’s pass marked Jones’ first of the season and the third of his career. Each of Jones’ receptions has come from a different passer (Jason Campbell, Carson Palmer and Shane Lechler).

WR Darrius Heyward-Bey’s one-handed 46-yard catch on the Raiders’ second-quarter touchdown drive was the second longest of the season for the fourth-year receiver. He had a 59-yard reception in a win over Jacksonville on Oct. 21.

Streater’s touchdown reception marked the second of the season for the non-drafted rookie free agent. Streater hauled in a 2-yard touchdown pass in the season opener vs. San Diego on Sept. 10.

Streater drew a pass-interference call in the end zone on a fourth-quarter drive, setting up a 1-yard touchdown pass from Palmer to TE Brandon Myers.

TE Richard Gordon in the third quarter had an 8-yard reception, which marks a career long for the second-year player.

DT Richard Seymour recovered a Buccaneers fumble in the fourth quarter, setting up a touchdown drive. It marked Seymour’s first fumble recovery of the season and first since Sept. 12, 2010, at Tennessee.

WR Juron Criner notched a reception on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter, marking the second time this season that a rookie receiver has recorded a two-point conversion. WR Rod Streater hauled in a two-point conversion in the season opener vs. San Diego on Sept. 10.

RB Mike Goodson hauled in a season-high six receptions, for 52 yards.

RB Darren McFadden left the contest in the second quarter with an injury to his ankle. X-rays on his leg were negative.

DT Desmond Bryant left the game early in the second half and was taken to Eden Medical Center with an accelerated heart rate.

Inactive for the game were QB Terrelle Pryor, CB Shawntae Spencer, LB Keenan Clayton, T Khalif Barnes, OL Lucas Nix, DE Jack Crawford, and DT Christo Bilukidi.
