Raiders Team Notes

• The Raiders rushed for three touchdowns on the afternoon (two by RB Darren McFadden and one by QB Terrelle Pryor), marking the first time the team has rushed for three TDs in a game since 9/25/11 vs. NY Jets, when they ran for four.

• For the third time this season, the Raider defense had at least four sacks. It was the second time this year with five. The defense has tallied eight over the last two weeks.

• The Raiders allowed 35 yards rushing today, the third time this year an opponent has rushed for less than 40 yards (all at home). The first-half rushing defense continues to be impressive, as the Silver and Black allowed a season-low eight rushing yards in the first half. Oakland has allowed just one rushing TD in the first half this year.

• Pittsburgh was 4-for-15 on third down today, and the Raider defense has limited opponents to 9-for-29 (31%) on third down over the last two games. The Steelers were 0-for-7 in the first half.

• It was the third time this season (all at home) the Raiders have scored 14 points in the first quarter (Washington & San Diego previously).

• The Pittsburgh defense came in with the fewest runs allowed of 10 more yards in the NFL, permitting just 11 on the year. The Raiders had three, all in the first half.

• It was the third time this season the Raiders have held an opponent to three-or-fewer points in the first half.

Individual Raiders Notes

• QB Terrelle Pryor's 93-yard run from scrimmage was a Raider record, eclipsing Bo Jackson's 1989 run of 92 yards against Cincinnati. It was also the longest TD run by a quarterback in NFL history (previously 80 by Kordell Stewart in 1996 for Pittsburgh). It was also a 2013-high for any rusher heading into today (Adrian Peterson had 78).

• Pryor also moved into No. 2 all-time for a Raider quarterback in rushing with 391 yards. Rich Gannon has the single season franchise QB rushing record of 529 yards.

• Pryor also moved up the list of NFL rushing leaders by a quarterback this year, jumping into the lead with 391 yards, ahead of Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (323, who plays Monday) and Eagles QB Michael Vick (308, following today).

• Pryor is the only quarterback in Raiders franchise history to rush for 100 yards in a game twice, posting 106 today and 112 in Week One at Indianapolis, which was a franchise record.

• Pryor is also No. 2 in the NFL in 20-plus yard runs overall, as his six are second to 49ers RB Frank Gore's seven (following the 49er win in London today).

• Pryor's 7.4 yards per carry (53 carries for 391 yards) also leads the NFL (No. 2 is Redskins QB Robert Griffin III with 6.1 per carry heading into today).

• With RB Darren McFadden's rushing TD in the second quarter, he moved past Michael Bush (21, 2008-11) for No. 10 all-time in Raider history. He finished with two on the day, giving him 22 in his career, tying Marv Hubbard (1969-75) for ninth all-time. He also moved into No. 8 in franchise history, passing Clarence Davis (1971-78) with 3,674 yards rushing, eight short of No. 7. It was McFadden’s first multi-rushing TD game since 2011.

• It was the second-straight game with a sack for rookie LB Sio Moore, who has accumulated all three of his career sacks over the last two games (including two today).

• It was the first interception since 2011 for CB Mike Jenkins (ninth career).

• Firsts as a Raider: CB Tracy Porter’s interception; CB Mike Jenkins’ interception; DL Daniel Muir’s sack.
