Throwback Thursday: The Holy Roller

Every Thursday, we take a look back at a great moment in Raiders history - a game, a play...this week, it's The Holy Roller.

Hall of Fame TE Dave Casper (87) scores a touchdown on an "impossible dream of a play."

When the Raiders open the 2012 Regular Season against the San Diego Chargers on ESPN's Monday Night Football, September 10, 2012, it will be 34 years to the day since the Silver and Black stunned the Chargers in San Diego on a play that has become known as The Holy Roller.

Legendary radio announcer Bill King's call has become almost as famous as Hall of Fame TE Dave Casper's improbable fumble recovery for a touchdown. Casper's recovery tied the game and K Errol Mann's extra point won it.
