The Oakland Raiders have featured some high-scoring teams during their 53 years of professional football play in both the American Football League and the National Football League. Here is a Top 10 list of the highest scoring teams in Raiders history.


1. The 2000 Oakland Raiders scored a franchise-high 479 points (ranked third in the NFL) en route to a 12-4 record. In the divisional round of the playoffs, the Silver and Black scored 27 points while shutting out the Miami Dolphins.
2. In 1967, the Oakland Raiders totaled 468 points (ranked first in the AFL) on the way to a stellar 13-1 record. Once in the Conference Championship game, the team amassed 40 points while holding the Houston Oilers to just 7.
3. During the 1968 regular season, the Silver and Black recorded 453 points (ranked first in the AFL) en route to a 12-2 campaign. The Raiders proceeded to score 63 points in two postseason games while holding division rival Kansas City to 6 points in the first round.
4. Tthe 2002 Raiders registered 450 points (ranked second in the NFL) during an 11-5 regular season. The team totaled 91 points during the postseason and appeared in Super Bowl XXXVII.
5. While playing in Los Angeles in 1983, the Raiders scored 442 points, raking third in all of the NFL. After posting a 12-4 record during the regular season, the team went 3-0 in the playoffs, scoring 116 points and defeating the Washington Redskins 38-9 in Super Bowl XVIII.
6. In 2010, the Oakland Raiders notched 410 points (ranked sixth in the NFL) en route to an 8-8 record. The team scored a single-game franchise-record 59 points against the Denver Broncos at INVESCO Field at Mile High in Week 7.
7. The 2001 Raiders accumulated 399 points (ranked fourth in the NFL) on the way to a 10-6 regular season. In the Wild Card game, the Silver and Black scored 38 points in a victory over the New York Jets.
8. In 1999, the Silver and Black went 8-8 and totaled 390 points, ranking eighth in the NFL. The Raiders scored over 40 points in two out of the final three regular season games.
9. During the 1969 regular season, the Raiders scored 377 points (ranked first in the AFL) along the way to a 12-1-1 record. The team scored a franchise playoff-record 56 points against the Houston Oilers in the divisional round of the playoffs.
10. The 1975 Raiders amassed 375 points (ranked fourth in the NFL) while registering an 11-5 record, the team advanced to but lost in the AFC Championship game.
