Staci

Staci

Staci is returning for her third season with the Raiderettes. A tomboy until she graduated high school, Staci played basketball and softball and ran track. Staci also played football in elementary school and was the only girl selected for the All-Star team. Staci was inspired by her high school dance team’s performance at one of the basketball games and started taking dance classes when she attended University of California-Berkeley.

Staci signed up for a graded dance class at Cal during her freshman year and also took a jazz class on the side. At the beginning of her sophomore year, she tried out and made the Cal dance team, helping her build the confidence and skills to eventually audition for the Raiderettes.

As an undergraduate at Berkeley, Staci envisioned herself as a future CEO of a company. She took business classes in pursuit of that goal, but found herself volunteering at elementary schools instead of corporations. She realized she was destined to be a teacher.

Staci majored in American Studies with an emphasis in Business and went on to receive her master’s degree and teaching credential from University of California-Davis. She now teaches first grade at an elementary school in her hometown, Pittsburgh, Calif. She is the first grade representative on the school’s leadership committee and loves being able to be a good influence and push her students in the right direction.

Staci’s favorite moment on game day is after the Raiders have come from behind and scored a touchdown to take the lead. She loves watching people of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds cheer together as the Raider Nation.
