2012: Played in all 16 games, with 14 starts, 10 at FB and four at RB after high-ankle sprains sidelined both Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson for the same four games in the middle of the year…A second-team All-Pro (ProFootballFocus.com, CBS) and first-level Pro Bowl alternate, was in on 657 offensive plays…Averaged 4.6 yards per carry (59 attempts, 271 yards), and finished second on the team with 52 catches; had 496 receiving yards (9.5 avg.) and one touchdown reception…Only three other NFL backs (Darren Sproles, Ray Rice and LeSean McCoy) had more receptions, but none averaged more yards per catch than Reece (9.5)…Also returned one kickoff for 36 yards…One of the best stories on the team, signed a long-term contract extension just prior to season’s first game… (9/10) vs. SD: After going the full preseason without a touch, caught a 15-yard pass to convert a third down on a second-quarter field goal drive…(9/23) vs. Pit.: As an upback, returned the opening kickoff 36 yards, a career long…(9/30) at Den.: Led team with five receptions, including a 31-yard pass in the first quarter…(10/21) vs. Jac.: Did not start, as team opened in three-WR set, but played entire game and caught a 35-yard pass early in fourth quarter to set up an important field goal as Oakland fought back for a 26-23 overtime win…(11/4) vs. TB: With both Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson out with high-ankle sprains, helped the Raiders fight back valiantly from a 35-17 fourth-quarter deficit, establishing career highs with eight receptions and 95 receiving yards, including a 13-yard touchdown down the right sideline that helped cut the Bucs’ lead to 35-32 with just under four minutes left…Had four catches in the final period, and two late in the third quarter on an important TD drive, including a 26-yard grab on which he laid out to secure the reception…(11/11) at Bal.: Made his first NFL start as a RB, with high-ankle sprains making both Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson inactive; compiled a career-high 13 carries, for 48 yards (3.7 avg.), and led the team with seven catches; converted a pair of third downs in the second quarter, including a carry in which he bulled through the line on a third-and-1, extending a TD drive…Also caught a nice 24-yard pass early in the third quarter…(11/18) vs. NO: Again replacing McFadden as the starting RB, recorded single-game career bests with 19 carries and 103 rushing yards, and with 90 yards in the air, nearly became only the second Oakland player (Marcus Allen) to top 100 rushing and receiving yards…Had 193 yards from scrimmage…Set up the Raiders’ first score with a 56-yard reception in the second quarter…(11/25) at Cin.: Made his third straight start at RB, passionately averaging 4.9 yards on 15 attempts, including a 10-yard run on a third-quarter FG drive in which he broke several tackles…Helped Oakland back into the game later in third quarter, with inspiring carries of 12 and 15 yards, breaking several more tackles, on a TD drive…Late in first half, took a screen for 11 yards, hurdling a defender for the first down…(12/2) vs. Cle.: Averaged 5.1 yards on seven carries, including a 12-yard burst early in game…(12/16) vs. KC: Helped pave the way for 203 rushing yards in 15-0 win.
