2010 Off-Season Primer

The NFL has become a year-round enterprise. From free agency to off-season workout programs to mini-camps and Organized Team Activities - teams are always looking to improve and set the foundation for success. Pro and college scouts are evaluating potential free agent signings and draft choices, while Raiders staff members are planning for the 2010 season. Free Agency and Trading Period

The signing period for unrestricted free agents and the trading period began March 5th.

Off-Season Workout Program

The Oakland Raiders off-season work-out program begins March 15th as the team convenes for strength and endurance training at the Raiders Alameda, Calif., facility.

2010 Raiderette Auditions

The preliminary 2010 Raiderette Audition is scheduled for Sunday, April 11th, with Finals set for the following Sunday. Audition Prep Classes are being offered with the first prep class slated for Saturday, March 27th.

2010 NFL Schedule

The 2010 NFL game schedule, including dates, times, venues and television coverage will be announced by the National Football League sometime during the month of April. Pre-season opponents will be revealed in late March. Last year, pre-season opponents were announced March 30.

2010 NFL Draft

The 2010 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 22-24 at Radio City Music Hall in New York. More than 250 collegiate prospects will begin their professional football careers as a selection in the seven-round Draft. The Raiders currently have the #8 overall pick. The NFL Draft will kick off in prime time (ET) for the first time in 2010. The first round of the 2010 NFL Draft will start Thursday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m. PT, with the second and third rounds on Friday, April 23 at 3:30 p.m. PT, followed by Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, April 24 at 7 a.m. PT. Mini-Camps and Organized Team Activities

After the conclusion of the NFL Draft, the Raiders historically have held mini-camps and Organized Team Activities at the team's Alameda facility during the months of May and June.

10th Annual Youth Skills Camp

Summer 2010 marks the 10th year of The Oakland Raiders non-contact, youth football skills camp. The two-day camp, scheduled for June 12-13 is designed to encourage boys and girls ages 8-14 to participate in and enjoy the game of football. Click here to find out how to register.

2010 Training Camp

The Raiders will report to Training Camp 2010 at their Napa Valley Training Complex in late July. Teams typically open training camp 15 days prior to their first pre-season game.
