Raiders Make Roster Moves


The Oakland Raiders signed free agent safeties Josh Bullocks and Matt Giordano.

Bullocks was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 2005 in the 2nd round (40th overall) out of Nebraska and played for the Saints through 2008. He played in 62 games with New Orleans, recording 256 tackles, one sack, six interceptions and 24 passes defensed. Bullocks was then signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Chicago Bears for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. He played in 28 games, starting four, and recorded 34 tackles.

Giordano played college football at University of California, Berkeley and was drafted in the 4th round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Giordano was active in 55 games for the Colts from 2005-2008 and recorded 80 tackles, seven passes defensed, three interceptions and returned one for a touchdown. He played for the Green Bay Packers in 2009 and the New Orleans Saints in 2010.
