Tom Jones is entering his 25th season with the Las Vegas Raiders and his second as Vice President of Football Operations/Assistant to the Head Coach. Before assuming his current role, Jones most recently served as the Director of Team Operations. He originally joined the Raiders in 1996 as an intern. In his current position, Jones works closely with Head Coach Josh McDaniels and General Manager Dave Ziegler. He manages several aspects of Coach McDaniels' agenda, including day-to-day football operations, scheduling, the football calendar, CBA compliance, the Bill Walsh Fellowship Program, and communication with players, coaches, and other departments. 

A Bay Area native, Jones earned a bachelor's degree in political science and criminal justice from Chico State before moving on to the University of San Francisco to obtain a master's degree in sport management. Jones currently resides in Henderson, Nev., with his wife, Kelly, and two children, Jayden and Emma.
