Biography

Originally a fifth-round selection (163rd overall) by the Packers in the 2016 NFL Draft, the 6-foot-1, 188-pound speedster out of Cal has appeared in 31 games over his first four seasons, recording nine receptions for 122 receiving yards and one touchdown, while primarily being used as a return special list, logging 40 punt returns for 449 yards (11.2 avg.) and 35 kick returns for 791 yards (22.6 avg.). In 2018, his year was cut short due to a hamstring injury that landed him on the Reserve/Injured List two times, allowing him to only appear in two contests throughout the campaign. In 2017, Davis appeared in all 16 contests for the first time in his career, serving as the primary returner for both kickoffs and punts. He tallied 24 punt returns for 289 yards (12.0 avg.) and 31 kickoff returns for 707 yards (22.8 avg.). His 12.0-yard punt return average ranked third in the NFL and sixth in club annals for a single season. Davis’ average of 12.1 yards per punt return since entering the NFL in 2016 ranks second league wide. A native San Francisco, Calif., the former Cal Bear played two seasons at his local program, totaling 2,300 all-purpose yards, including 1,071 receiving yards and seven touchdown scores on 64 receptions, 1,110 yards and two touchdowns on 45 kickoff returns and 115 yards on 14 punt returns. During his senior year in 2015, Davis notched a team-best 1,407 all-purpose yards including 672 receiving yards on 40 receptions for a 16.8-yard average that ranked second on the team.
