Mario Jeberaeel enters his first season as offensive run game coordinator with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2026, bringing with him 17 years of coaching experience, including five at the NFL level. Jeberaeel comes to the Silver and Black after spending two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2024-25), where he served as a defensive assistant in the 2025 season after working as the assistant outside linebackers coach in 2024.

In 2025, he assisted a Jaguars' defense that finished with the league's No. 1 run defense, allowing just 85.6 rush yards per game, and also ranked eighth in the NFL in scoring defense (19.8 ppg). Jacksonville became the first team in NFL history to produced 30+ takeaways after having 10-or-less the season prior. The defense finished with the most passes defensed (107) and second-most interceptions (22) in the league, while LB Devin Lloyd received Pro Bowl and All Pro honors after leading all linebackers with five interceptions. S Antonio Johnson matched Lloyd's interception total for a share of the second most in the league while DE Josh Hines-Allen tied for fourth in the NFL with 80 quarterback pressures.

In 2024, Jeberaeel helped DE Travon Walker set career highs in tackles (61), tackles for loss (13), sacks (10.5) and forced fumbles (two). Walker's 10.5 sacks were tied-eighth in the AFC in 2024. DE Josh Hines-Allen registered 8.0 sacks, making the Jaguars one of five teams in the AFC to have two players with 8.0-plus sacks.

Prior to his tenure in Jacksonville, he spent three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons (2021-23), where he was named special projects—defense in 2023 after spending the 2022 season as assistant offensive line coach and 2021 as a diversity coaching intern/offensive line.

In 2023, the Falcons' defense held opponents to a 33.8 third-down conversion rate, third best in the NFL this season and its lowest mark in a single season since 2005. Atlanta's defense also tied for the second-most forced fumbles in the NFL (18) and produced 42.0 sacks, tied for the sixth-most sacks in a single-season in franchise history.

In 2022, Jeberaeel assisted with an offensive line that produced the third-ranked rushing attack in the NFL (159.9 yards per game) and the second-most rushing yards in franchise history (2,718). He helped G Chris Lindstrom be selected to his first career Pro Bowl and be named Second-Team All-Pro after starting all 17 games at right guard and earning a 95.0 PFF grade. With Jeberaeel's help, RT Kaleb McGary, LT Jake Matthews and C Drew Dalman all started 17 games apiece for an offensive line that limited opponents to an average of 9.7 quarterback pressures per game – an improvement of 5.3 pressures per game from 2021.

From 2018-20, Jeberaeel served as the offensive line coach at Abilene Christian University. In his first season as offensive line coach, the Wildcats led the Southland conference in fewest sacks allowed, while T Dakota Laws and C Bill Weber each received Second-Team All-Conference honors.

In 2019, Jeberaeel assisted with the offensive line of the Green Bay Packers as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Internship during phase two and phase three of OTAs.

Jeberaeel spent three seasons (2015-17) coaching at the University of Kansas, beginning as an offensive graduate assistant and assistant offensive line coach from 2015-16 before being promoted to quality control coach in 2017.

Prior to his time at Kansas, he spent two seasons (2013-14) at the University of Arkansas-Monticello, where he served as the offensive line, tight ends and fullbacks coach, as well as the recruiting and strength coordinator. He also spent three seasons at Nicholls State University from 2010-12, starting as an offensive graduate assistant and assistant offensive line coach before being promoted to offensive line coach in his final season in 2012.

He began his coaching career at Western High School in Las Vegas while also serving as a volunteer assistant at his alma mater, UNLV, in 2009.

Personal: A native of Las Vegas, Nev., Jeberaeel earned a bachelor's degree in university studies from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas where he played on the Rebels' offensive line from 2004-08…He and his wife, Abbey, have three children: Louisa, Samuel and Margaret, and one dog, Franklin.
