Matt Capurro enters his 23rd NFL season and second with the Silver and Black, bringing more than two decades of experience in football operations and team logistics. He rejoined the Raiders following 15 years with the Seattle Seahawks, where he most recently served as vice president of coaching operations (2022-2024) after 12 seasons as director of team operations (2010-2021).

During his time in Seattle, Capurro played an integral role in the club's sustained success, contributing to 10 playoff appearances, two Super Bowl berths, and a victory in Super Bowl XLVIII.

In his role, Capurro has overseen all facets of football operations, including strategic planning of the football calendar, scheduling, CBA compliance, roster management, and game-day administration. He has also led coordination across coaching staff, players, and front office departments, while managing key areas such as officiating, club discipline, and the Bill Walsh Fellowship Program.

Prior to his time in Seattle, Capurro served as director of football operations at USC in 2009, where he managed the program's football calendar, travel logistics, camps and clinics, compliance, and budgeting, while acting as a key liaison within the athletic department.

Capurro began his NFL career with the Oakland Raiders, spending six seasons (2003-2008) as assistant to the head coach, supporting day-to-day football operations under Bill Callahan, Norv Turner, Art Shell, Lane Kiffin and Tom Cable. He originally joined the organization as a football operations intern (1998-2002), working under Jon Gruden and Callahan.

A Bay Area native, Capurro earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from University of San Francisco in 2003. He was a multi-sport athlete at St. Vincent High School in Petaluma, Calif., lettering in both football and baseball.

Capurro and his wife, Emily, have two daughters, Gianna and Cecilia.
