Biography
Rohit Mogalayapalli enters his seventh NFL season and joins the Silver and Black after spending the past five seasons with the Houston Texans.
He most recently served as the Texans' assistant director of special projects and game management from 2024-2025 after serving as the team's football performance assistant from 2021-2023. During his time with the Texans, the team made the playoffs three times, winning a playoff game in each of the last three seasons.
Mogalayapalli previously worked for the Indianapolis Colts in 2020 as a scouting assistant and with the University of Michigan Athletics department from 2017-2020 as a sports analytics consultant. Mogalayapalli also spent the 2019 offseason with the Baltimore Ravens as a performance analytics intern.
A native of Novi, Mich., Mogalayapalli earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Michigan in 2019. As a sophomore, he founded the Michigan Sports Analytics Society.
