Biography

Torrey Gill enters his first season in the NFL and first season as offensive quality control coach with the Las Vegas Raiders, bringing with him 10 years of coaching experience at the college level. Gill first joined the Raiders in training camp through the Bill Walsh Coaching Fellowship before being added to the staff in a full-time capacity. He participated in the program with the Raiders in both 2023 and 2026. In his current role, Gill's specialized emphasis is on working with the wide receivers.

Prior to joining the Raiders, Gill spent the past two seasons (2024-25) as Alabama's assistant wide receivers, helping develop standout receiver Germie Bernard. In his final season in 2025, Bernard finished tied for fifth in the SEC with seven receiving touchdowns and led the team in receptions (64) and yards (862) before being selected in the second round (No. 47 overall) of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Before joining the Crimson Tide, Gill served as the Assistant Wide Receivers Coach for Oregon State from 2022-23, where he heavily involved in running the wide receiver meetings, organizing on-field coaching, recruiting, and breaking down film. He worked closely with WR Anthony Gould, who ended up selected in the fifth round (142nd overall) in 2024 NFL Draft. He also served as the Interim Running Backs coach for the 2023 Sun Bowl game.

Gill participated in the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023, spending OTAs, mandatory minicamp and the entirety of NFL training camp and preseason with the club, where he worked primarily with the running backs.

Prior to Oregon State, Gill worked as the Wide Receivers Graduate Assistant at New Mexico State in 2021 after two seasons as the Pass Game Coordinator/Wide Receivers coach at Whittier College. During his time at Whittier, he helped develop two All-SCIAC wide receivers in Hakim Williams Jr. and Moises Gonzalez.

Gill began his coaching career at his alma mater Tabor College, where he spent three seasons as a graduate assistant working with the wide receivers and helped the Bluejays to a 22-9 record and three Top 25 NAIA rankings.

PERSONAL: A native of Olive Branch, Miss., Gill began his college football journey playing two seasons at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Miss., where he was named an All-Conference wide receiver before transferring to Tabor College (NAIA) in Hillsboro, Kansas, to complete his final two seasons of eligibility…Participated in the NFL Regional Combine in 2016 after two years as an all-conference receiver…He majored in Biology/Coaching, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts in Sports Studies…Earned his first master's from Tabor College in May 2019 and his second from New Mexico State University in 2022…Gill played professional football in the Arena Football League for the Wichita Force in 2019.
