Andy Dengler enters his fifth season with the Raiders as a Senior National Scout. Previously, he was with the Jacksonville Jaguars for 23 years from 1998-2021, handling various roles including area scout, national scout, college director and assistant director of player personnel. He started in scouting 1995-1998, as an area scout with National Football Scouting. Prior to scouting, he coached college football at both St. Joseph's College 1992-1995 (OL-OC) and 1990-1992 Tiffin University (OL). He was a graduate assistant at Bowling Green State University, and prior to that was a high school teacher and coach for two years.

A native of Circleville, Ohio, Dengler earned a Master of Education degree from Bowling Green State University and undergraduate Bachelor of Arts from Heidelberg College. In February of 2026, he was honored at the NFL Scouting Combine when he received the C.O. Brocato Memorial Award for Lifetime Service to NFL Scouting at the annual @InsideTheLeague Scouting Seminar in Indianapolis. The award is named after C.O. Brocato, the late longtime scout for the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans. He is married with two daughters.
