Joseph Hooven is entering his fourth season with the Las Vegas Raiders, first as Communications Manager, and his seventh season in the NFL. In his current role, Hooven oversees the entirety of the organization's football information program, responsible for research, analysis, and presentation of all relevant statistical and anecdotal elements. He is the chief writer and editor of the team's weekly release packet, compiling 400-plus pages of information in a guide used by broadcasters, local and national media, as well as all internal media channels. Hooven also manages the @RAIDERS_PR X (Twitter) account, communicating positive football data to the media and fans. Hooven also works closely with players and coaches to facilitate interview requests from local, national and internal media outlets.

Prior to joining the Raiders in 2022, Hooven worked on communications staffs around the NFL, including two seasons with the New York Jets (2018, 2020) and one season with the Houston Texans (2019). He also spent one season in the NBA G League working for the New Orleans Pelicans organization as manager of basketball communications for the launch of the Birmingham Squadron in Birmingham, Ala., in 2021.

Hooven earned a bachelor's degree in public relations from Auburn University, where he also worked as a media relations assistant with Auburn Athletics from 2016-18. A native of Athens, Ala., Hooven currently resides in Las Vegas with his wife, Lauren and twin boys, Joseph and Emmett.
