Tom Delaney

SVP, Director of Football Administration

Biography

Tom Delaney enters his 26th year with the Raiders and the seventh in his present capacity. He served the previous seven seasons as director of football administration, having been named to that post in 2012.

Delaney is responsible for negotiating player contracts, managing the salary cap, player cost budgeting and projections, and football operations budgets. He also maintains the team's compliance with NFL and Management Council regulations.

He is a member of two NFL Management Council Committees; the CEC Executive Working Group which provides owners on the Management Council Executive Committee recommendations on labor matters for the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement, and the Club Services Committee which provides guidance and recommendations to develop new technology and systems for player contract reporting, salary cap management, and information management.

A native of Pleasanton, Calif., Delaney holds a math degree from UC Davis and worked in asset management as a financial analyst prior to joining the Raiders. His wife's name is Evelyn.
