
Zahir Rahman

Biography
Zahir Rahman is entering his sixth season with the Las Vegas Raiders and his third as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. Zahir oversees and advises on day-to-day business operations for the team and Allegiant Stadium. Recently, Zahir served as the Co-Chair for the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Administrative Committee and Secretary for the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee Charities. Prior to joining the Raiders, Zahir was an associate in Covington & Burling's Corporate Sports Practice and in Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom's Project Finance Group.
Zahir was born and raised in Baltimore. He received a bachelor's degree, summa cum laude in political science and government from Wake Forest University where he received the award for the university's highest scholastic achievement, was named a finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship and was awarded a Fulbright Research Scholarship (Morocco). He received his JD, cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he was on the executive board for the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He currently lives in Henderson, Nev., with his wife Maggie and their three young children.
