Biography

Powers-Johnson, a 6-foot-3, 328-pound offensive lineman out of Oregon, was selected with the 44th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He started 27 games over his career and became the first Pac-12 player in history to win the Rimington Trophy, given to the best center in college football.

In 2023, Powers-Johnson was named a unanimous First Team All-American after starting all 13 games and allowing zero sacks. He was part of an offensive line that allowed the fewest sacks in the nation (five) and blocked for the top passing offense in the country (346.9 yards per game).

Powers-Johnson did not allow a sack over three seasons with the Ducks and led all FBS centers with a 90.6 pass blocking grade from Pro Football Focus in 2023. He was also named a First Team All-American by Associated Press his junior season.

A native of Draper, Utah, Powers-Johnson attended Corner Canyon High School, where he helped the team to three-straight state championships and a 51-1 record over four years. Powers-Johnson earned MaxPreps first-team All-Utah honors following his senior season after leading the team to a 14-0 record, a 6A state football championship and a No. 8 finish in the MaxPreps Top 25 High School Football Rankings. He was named a four-star recruit by 247Sports.com, Rivals.com and ESPN.com.
