Nevada License Plates
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this offer open to?
This offer is open to vehicles registered in Nevada only. An active vehicle registration is required. If your vehicle registration is expired, it will need to be renewed before a Raiders plate can be issued.
If I already have a Raiders license plate, can I participate?
This offer is for new sequential plates only (no personalized plates) and does not apply to renewals for existing Raiders plateholders or souvenir plates.
If you currently have a Raiders plate on one vehicle (and have multiple vehicles registered under your name), you can still participate by getting a new Raiders plate for any vehicle(s) which do not currently have a Raiders plate.
Are there any additional fees or costs involved?
The Raiders will cover the initial $61 cost for the plate fee, but subsequent $30 renewal costs will be the responsibility of the plateholder. $25 of the initial fee and $20 of the renewal fee benefits the Raiders Foundation, supporting active military and veterans, youth development, and growing the game of football.
Please be aware, plate renewal fees are due at the time of vehicle registration. Therefore, once your vehicle registration is due, you will be responsible for paying the $30 plate renewal fee in full at that time (regardless of when you received the Raiders plate). For example, if your new Raiders plate is processed on June 1, 2024, and your vehicle registration expires on October 1, 2024, you will be required to pay the $30 plate renewal fee in addition to your vehicle registration fee on/before October 1, 2024. Plate fees are not pro-rated.
How long will it take to get my new plate?
Please allow up to 60 days to receive your new plate by mail. The plates will be delivered by the DMV.
What should I do if my license plate arrives bent or damaged?
The Raiders are not responsible for bent or damaged plates. If plates are damaged in transit, you will need to contact the DMV directly.
What do I do with my old license plate?
Once you receive your new Raiders plate, you are required to drop off your old plate at a DMV location or mail the plate back to the DMV. Please contact the DMV with any questions about returning your old license plate.
