Biography
With more than two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, Kari brings deep expertise in philanthropy, fundraising, and strategic partnerships to her role as VP of Philanthropy and Executive Director of the Raiders Foundation. Now entering her third season with the Las Vegas Raiders, Kari oversees the Foundation's grantmaking and fundraising programs, focusing on sustainable impact and meaningful community engagement.
Prior to joining the Raiders, Kari served as Executive Director of The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation for four years, where she was responsible for its highly successful fundraising gala, raising millions of dollars for youth programs. Over the course of her career, she worked extensively with athlete-founded charities, launching two from the ground up and helping to raise over $40 million for causes supporting underserved populations.
She currently serves on the boards of The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation and the Nevada Community Foundation and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. Originally from Maui, Hawai'i, Kari is a Las Vegas resident of more than 25 years.
