John Humphrey

CAREER: In his 5-year career (5 at UCLA, 1 at USC), Humphrey recorded 99 tackles, including 1 for loss, 9 PBUs, 3 INTs, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery while appearing in 51 games with 22 starts.

2024: Humphrey recorded 23 tackles, including 1 INT and 3 PBUs, on 12 appearances (all but Minnesota) and 3 starts as a redshirt senior in 2024.

He collected 3 tackles versus LSU and 1 tackle against Utah State. He tallied 2 tackles versus Wisconsin and 3 tackles versus Penn State, with 1 PBU. He recorded 4 tackles versus Maryland and 1 tackle with 2 PBUs against Rutgers. He collected 2 tackles versus Washington and 1 tackle against UCLA. He had 1 INT against Notre Dame and 6 tackles versus Texas A&M in the Distribution Las Vegas Bowl.

HIGH SCHOOL: Humphrey, a four-star recruit, was ranked as the No. 24 cornerback in the nation by 247Sports, No. 35 by ESPN and No. 41 by Rivals. He was touted as the No. 31 player in the state of California by 247Sports, No. 36 by ESPN and No. 39 by Rivals. He was named a 2020 Polynesian Bowl All-Star.

As a senior in 2019, he helped the Mustangs reach the CIF-Southern Section Division 11 title game. He recorded 25 tackles and 6 INTs. On offense he recorded 23 receptions for 563 yards (24.5 avg.). He was also John Muir's primary kick returner. He was selected to attend The Opening Finals in 2019.

PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor's degree in African American Studies at UCLA in 2023. He is currently pursuing a certificate in Gerontology at USC. While at UCLA, earned a placement on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
