By the Numbers: Diving into the decorated careers of the Raiders' 2024 draft class

It's now been a week since the Las Vegas Raiders selected eight players in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Silver and Black put together a promising class with talent, including several national and conference award winners.

Here's a look at some of the key numbers to introduce you to the Raiders rookies.

13

As a true freshman, Brock Bowers broke Georgia's record for most touchdown receptions in a season with 13, also coinciding with the draft selection the Raiders took him at. He'd go on to win SEC Freshman of the Year and his first of two national championships, while also earning a Second-Team AP All-American selection.

91.8

Oregon's Jackson Powers-Johnson received the highest career pass blocking grade from Pro Football Focus of all draft eligible offensive linemen: 91.8. He also received the highest offensive (84.5) and run blocking grades (85.6) of any center (min. 100 snaps) in 2023 while not allowing a single sack his entire college career.

278.9

DJ Glaze played a pivotal role in Maryland's offensive success and keeping quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa upright in the pocket. Behind Glaze at right tackle, Tagovailoa led the Big Ten in passing yards (3,377) and pass completions (290) last season. The Terrapins finished with the top-ranked passing offense (278.9) in the conference. Glaze was also the second-highest graded pass blocking tackle in the Big Ten with an 83.1 grade.

88

Decamerion Richardson was given the highest athleticism score of any draft eligible cornerback by NFL Next Gen Stats: an 88. He had the third-fastest 40-yard dash (4.34) and second-fastest 10-yard spilt (1.48) of all cornerbacks at the 2024 NFL Combine.

77

Tommy Eichenberg led the Big Ten in solo tackles (77) in 2022, while also leading the Ohio State Buckeyes in total tackles (120) and tackles for loss (12) that season. He followed up with an exceptional senior campaign, winning the Big Ten Conference's Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year award and his second consecutive First-Team All-Big Ten selection.

201.9

Dylan Laube, the Raiders' lone FCS draft pick this year, dominated the Coastal Athletic Association while at New Hampshire. He led FCS football in all-purpose yards in 2022 and 2023, averaging 201.9 all-purpose yards a game. The running back totaled 29 rushing touchdowns and 14 receiving touchdowns in his career. Additionally, he was the recipient of the 2023 CAA Special Teams Player of the Year, averaging over 31 yards a kick return and over 11 yards a punt return for the season.

2

Air Force safety Trey Taylor was named the 2023 Jim Thorpe Award winner after compiling 74 total tackles, four pass deflections and three interceptions in his senior season. The Third-Team AP All-American was the second player in the academy's history to win a national award in college football.

3

M.J. Devonshire was a certified ballhawk at the University of Pittsburgh, totaling eight interceptions and 21 pass deflections in three seasons. Nearly half of those interceptions resulted in him finding the end zone, with three career pick-sixes to his name.

In partnership with EōS Fitness, the Las Vegas Raiders hosted a Play Football Youth Combine where 350 athletes participated in a series of combine style drills.
