Quarterback Derek Carr

In 2015 – his second season under center for the Oakland Raiders – Derek Carr showed the type of jump in production that one typically wants to see from a young, promising quarterback.

His total passing yards and touchdowns increased from his rookie campaign, as did his overall completion percentage, and in addition to earning his first Pro Bowl berth, Carr has also received a plethora of praise from around the league – Hall of Famers included.

Wednesday evening, Amy Gutierrez of *CSN Bay Area *caught up with Brett Favre at a San Francisco Giants' game and during the course of their interview, questions arose about the Raiders' gunslinger.

"I don't know if I'd consider him a gunslinger," said Favre. "He's a little more polished – and I mean that with all due respect – I think he's done a tremendous job with Oakland and I like the way he plays, but again, I think he's a little more polished I would say. I like to watch him, good player."
