Bridgestone Elite Performance Moment Of The Week: Regular Season Week 7

Posted Oct 24, 2017

Michael Crabtree's fourth quarter touchdown is this week's Bridgestone Elite Performance Moment of the Week.

Something about the final moments of the game – the highest-pressure moments – brings out the best in Michael Crabtree.

You likely won’t see a wilder final minute of an NFL game than the final minute in the Oakland Raiders Thursday night clash against the Kansas City Chiefs, and after a handful of crazy plays “King Crab” made sure he sent the assembled crowd at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum home happy.

With the Silver and Black down 30-24 and in dire need of a touchdown – not to mention a win against a division foe – Derek Carr led the Raiders down the field, putting the team in position to secure a W.

From there, it got funky, but on the second untimed play of the drive, Carr connected with Crabtree on a two-yard touchdown that tied the game, and gave Giorgio Tavecchio the chance to secure the Raiders third win of the season, which he did.

“We didn’t give up,” said Crabtree postgame. “We got a team of fighters. We believe. T.D. [Todd Downing] said in the meeting we need to believe no matter how hard the game is, we believe. We came out with the W, man, and I’m excited. It was great way to win.”

Crabtree’s touchdown not only cemented the Raiders most thrilling win of the 2017 season, it also effectively snapped the team’s four-game losing streak, so the last-second score is this week’s Elite Performance Moment of the Week, presented by Bridgestone.
