Here are the game notes from the Oakland Raiders Sunday night victory over the Miami Dolphins, presented by Microsoft Surface.

Raiders 27, Dolphins 24

The Raiders defeated the Dolphins by a score of 27-24 to improve their 2017 record to 4-5 heading into the Bye Week.

The victory gives Oakland its first win against Miami since Sept. 30, 2007 (35-17), ending a five-game skid against the Dolphins.

The win breaks the tie in the all-time regular season series, moving the Raiders ahead, 17-16-1.

The team has now won two of their three primetime appearances in 2017, with their first coming in Week 7 on Thursday Night Football against the Chiefs.

The victory gives the Silver and Black a 19-19 record overall on Sunday Night Football, winning three of their last four such contests. It also marks the team's first victory over Miami on primetime since Nov. 19, 1990, when the Raiders defeated the Dolphins 13-10 on Monday Night Football.

The Raiders return home following their 10-day, two-game road trip and will be on their Bye Week in Week 10 for the second consecutive season. The team will come out of the bye and play the New England Patriots in Mexico City, as the team will appear in international play and in Mexico in back-to-back years.

Game Highlights

The Raiders offense totaled seven plays of at least 20 yards in tonight's contest, the most by the club in a game this season.

The Raiders added two more 20-plus-yard touchdowns in tonight's contest (44 and 22), giving them a league-best 26 such touchdowns since 2016.

QB Derek Carrsurpassed 13,000 passing yards in his career, just the fourth quarterback in club history to do so.

TE Jared Cook posted a season highs in both receptions (eight) and yards (126) and led both teams in each respective category.

WR Johnny Holton recorded his second touchdown reception of the season on just his second reception of the campaign.

RB Marshawn Lynch scored two times on the ground for the first time since Dec. 21, 2014 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Carr orchestrated a 12-play 58-yard drive lasting 7:29 on the opening offensive series of the night, which culminated in a 36-yard field goal by K Giorgio Tavecchio.

Carr executed a second scoring drive in the second quarter that lasted six plays and went for 81 yards in just 4:02. The drive was capped off by a 44-yard touchdown pass to WR Johnny Holton. The two have connected on touchdowns of 64 and 44 yards in 2017.

Since 2016, the Raiders lead the NFL with 26 offensive touchdowns of at least 20 yards.

On his touchdown toss to Holton, Carr surpassed 13,000 career passing yard, just the fourth quarterback in club history to do so.

Carr opened up the second half orchestrating a six-play, 67-yard drive lasting 3:24, which culminated with a 22-yard touchdown rush by RB Marshawn Lynch.

Carr surpassed 300-yards passing for the third consecutive game, marking the first time doing so since Weeks 8-10 of the 2015 campaign against the Jets, Steelers and Vikings.

Carr finished completing 21-of-30 passes for 300 yards with one touchdown and one interception for a passer rating of 99.3.

TE Jared Cook

On the opening drive of the ball game, Cook hauled in three first-down receptions and totaled 59 yards, helping lead to an opening-drive field goal.

Cooks 59 yards in the first quarter are the second-most in any first quarter of his career.

Cook added three more receptions in the first half to total 113  yards, the second-most yards in a first half in his career (136 - Week 16 of 2011 against Jacksonville). It also marked the second time this season Cook has crossed 100 yards receiving and a season high.

Cook now leads the team with 39 receptions and 499 yards on the season. His single-season career highs for each respective category are 52 (set in 2014) and 759 (set in 2011).

Cook recorded a season-best eight receptions for 126 yards (15.8 avg.)

WR Johnny Holton

Holton recorded the second touchdown of his career, hauling in a 44-yard pass from QB Derek Carr. Holton's first touchdown came in Week 4 against the Denver Broncos on a 64-yard catch. Holton's touchdown reception was his only catch of the evening.

LB Bruce Irvin

After tying the league lead in 2016 with six forced fumbles, Irvin recorded his first of the 2017 midway through the second quarter when he stripped the ball from RB Damien Williams that was recovered by CB TJ Carrie.

Irvin split a sack later in the fourth quarter, taking down Jay Cutler for a 2-yard loss withDE Mario Edwards Jr.

Irving finished the night with four tackles (two solo) 0.5 sacks and one forced fumble.

Lynch totaled 39 yards on the ground during the Raiders' opening offensive series of the second half and capped a six-play, 67 yard drive lasting 3:24 with his longest rush of the season, a 22-yard scamper that led him to the end zone for his third score of the season.

On the rush, Lynch passed Earl Campbell (12,665) on the NFL's all-time rushing list.

With a 3-yard score to cap a six-play, 87-yard drive, Lynch recorded two rushing touchdowns in a game for the first time since Dec. 21, 2014 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Lynch's second score of the night marked the 13th multi-rushing touchdown game of his career and has 78 total scores on the ground in his career, tied for 20th-most all-time.

Lynch's 55 touchdowns on the ground since 2011 lead the NFL.

Lynch finished with 14 carries for 57 yards (4.1 avg) and two scores, adding six yards receiving on two receptions (3.0 avg.).

Special Teams

K Giorgio Tavecchio

Tavecchio split the uprights with a 36-yard field goal on the opening 12-play, 58-yard drive which lasted 7:29.

Tavecchio recorded a career-long on the final play of the second quarter with a 53-yard field goal. The score gave the Raiders a 13-9 lead at the half.

Tavecchio finished the night two-of-two on field goal attempts while connecting on all three PATS. 

Other Notables

LB NaVorro Bowman tied the team led in tackles (10) for the third consecutive week.

WR Amari Cooperadded 58 yards to his season total on four receptions (14.5 avg.), finishing second on the team in receiving yards to TE Jared Cook(126).

WR Michael Crabtreehas recorded a reception in all 119 career games and recorded at least three receptions in 103 of them. He finished the night with three receptions for 40 yards (13.3 avg.).

T Donald Penn extended his starting streak to 165 games, the longest active streak in the NFL among offensive lineman.
