Khalil Mack Named AFC Defensive Player Of The Week

Defensive End Khalil Mack

Following his impressive performance against the Carolina Panthers, Oakland Raiders defensive end Khalil Mack has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Stat Line: 6 tackles (6 solo), 1 sack, 3 quarterback hits, 1 interception, 1 touchdown, 1 pass defensed, 1 forced fumble and one fumble recovery in the Raiders' 35-32 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

· Became the first player since 2009 to have an interception, sack, forced fumble, fumble recovery and a touchdown in the same game; was also the only player this week to do this.

· Recorded his first career touchdown, intercepting a screen pass and returning it 11 yards for the score in the second quarter.

· Sealed the team's victory with 1:00 remaining when he recorded a sack-fumble, which he recovered, to bring the Panthers' drive to a stop.
