It didn't take long for Fortnite to burst on the scene and capture the attention of kids, celebrities, and athletes everywhere. The popular Battle Royale free-to-play game has been a favorite in the gaming community for a little over a year now, and for the second time, Epic Games hosted its annual Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am event on Sunday, which was held during the Fortnite Summer Block Party in Los Angeles.

All sorts of personalities gathered to participate in the event, such as popular streamers, celebrities, and athletes, including former Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch. Beastmode was paired with arguably the G.O.A.T. of Fortnite, Ninja (Tyler Blevins), as the duo tried to accomplish the coveted Victory Royale.

Late last week, Lynch teased the tandem's partnership on his Instagram account; take a look.

Unfortunately, Lynch and Ninja were unable to come out on top, as the duo finished 19th in the competition; however, the event was for charity, which is far more important.

You can watch the full competition below -- Lynch and Ninja first appear at 16:30.
