Bridgestone Elite Performance Moment Of The Week: Regular Season Week 8

Even though the Oakland Raiders eventually fell to the Buffalo Bills 34-14 Sunday afternoon, the Silver and Black struck first, capping off an impressive 13-play, 81-yard opening drive with a one-yard touchdown by Jamize Olawale.

Since he joined the Silver and Black, the powerful fullback/running back has quietly gone about his business, and has shown time and again that he's more than just a bruising lead blocker and special teams contributor.

He might not get a ton of carries – he's had just five in 2017 – but Olawale routinely makes the most out his chances with the ball in his hands; you can just look at his rushing touchdown from Sunday's game in Buffalo as proof of that.

Things went a little sideways for the Silver and Black after Olawale's big score, but that first Raiders drive showed what type of offense the Silver and Black can boast when everything is rocking and rolling. The group is filled with playmakers, and while Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Marshawn Lynch and Co., deservedly get a lot of the praise, let's give credit where credit is due with Olawale.

While No. 49 carried the ball just twice against the Bills before exiting the game due to injury, his first quarter touchdown gave the Raiders an early lead, and it is also this week's Elite Performance Moment of the Week, presented by Bridgestone.
