On how he's feeling physically:
Brown:"Yeah, I'm finally back in order, so that's a blessing right off the top. I'm just happy to be back out here, trying to work and help this team get a win this week."
On facing Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr.:
Brown:"They're playmakers. They're proven in this league. There are a lot of ball hawks on that defense, so they have a number of guys that fly to the ball. They play well in man-to-man coverage and they do their job well every week. Going against them is definitely going to be a challenge for us, but it's something I'm looking forward to."
On Derek Carr's composure and maturity:
Brown:"Just his leadership. He's trying to lead this offense and keep it going in the right direction. That says a lot, to have a young player step up like that and take on what he's taking on. It shows a maturity as well, and he's just trying to get better and better every week."
On if he sees the team improving:
Brown:"Yeah. A lot of guys are hungry in there. It's tough going through what we're going through now, but guys are still hungry and we're going to work. There's always somewhere to improve and we're continuing to work in that. Coach [Interim Head Coach Tony Sparano] is hammering on that every day. He's getting guys ready and we're trying to improve on those areas and keep going on what we have been improving on."
On the key to securing the first win of the season:
Brown:"Just continuing to work. Just going out there at practice and hammering on those things and just fine tuning everything. Hopefully bringing that, of course, into the game. That's where it counts, in the game. Just translating everything that we learn from practice and everything that we're trying to improve on and make it work in the games on Sundays."
