Derek Carr Believes He Could Beat Khalil Mack In A Game Of Basketball

Defensive end Khalil Mack

Have you ever wondered who would win in a one-on-one game of basketball between Oakland Raiders defensive end Khalil Mack and quarterback Derek Carr? Well, if you ask either one of them they'll gladly tell you they'd win.

As highly-motivated competitors, Mack and Carr are never willing to concede to their opponent, even if it just so happens to be one of their closest teammates.

Sunday afternoon, NFL Network stopped by the Raiders training camp in Napa, Calif., and posed this very same basketball question to Carr, who gave the only response one could expect.

The video caused the Raiders signal-caller to take to social media and crack a joke or two.

Which led to a Tweet from Mack, who kept things in perspective when playing No. 4 in some friendly hoops.

Thankfully, Mack is able to see the big picture, and knows he needs Carr for more purposeful games.
