ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have placed RB Marshawn Lynch on the Reserve/Injured List, the club announced Monday.
Lynch joined the Silver and Black via trade ahead of the 2017 season and has started in all 21 appearances for the club since his arrival, tallying 1,267 yards on 297 attempts (4.3 avg.) and adding 10 rushing scores. Over his 11-year career in the NFL, Lynch has appeared in a total of 148 contest and made 135 starts, recording 10,379 yards on 2,441 attempts (4.3 avg.) with 84 career scores, adding 287 receptions for 2214 yards and an additional nine receiving touchdowns.
Last season, the five-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro became the 31st rusher in NFL history to surpass 10,000 yards on the ground and just the second active player to compile at least 80 rushing touchdowns. Additionally, Lynch ranks fourth among active players with 34 career 100-yard rushing games and third in rushing yardage, while also leading the NFL with 61 rushing scores since 2011.
