Forty-seven years ago, Al Davis selected Eldridge Dickey with the 25th overall pick in the 1968 NFL Draft. The selection of Dickey marked a milestone moment for equality in the NFL, and is just one of multiple instances where Mr. Davis championed for diversity and justice both on and off the field.
After months of planning, Greg Ditmer and Will Telfer, two members of the Raiders Community Relations staff, began their inaugural Road to the Draft.
The pair's final destination is Chicago where they will attend the 2015 NFL Draft, but on their way they're stopping at a multitude of locations to chat with Raiders legends and coaches of current members of the Silver and Black.
