2025-2026 High School Flag Football Coach of the Week
Silverado High School Malissa Miles
The Las Vegas Raiders this week named Silverado High School, Malissa Miles, the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week. In her first year as head coach for Silverado, Malissa and the Skyhawks earned their first two victories over Cheyenne High School and Chaparral High School.
The Las Vegas Raiders this week named Spring Valley High School, Daniel Humphrey, the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week. Spring Valley is riding an eight game win streak including 2-0 last week with wins over Western High School and Clark High School.
The Las Vegas Raiders this week named SLAM! Academy, Taylor Velarde, the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week. SLAM! went 2-0 last week with two shutouts.
Shadow Ridge High School Head Coach Matt Nighswonger
The Las Vegas Raiders this week named Shadow Ridge High School, Matt Nighswonger, the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week. In addition to hosting the Mustang Rodeo tournament over the holiday break, Coach Nighswonger led his team to an undefeated 3-0 record in the tournament.
Mater East Academy High School Head Coach Will Brownell
The Las Vegas Raiders this week named Mater East Academy High School, Will Brownell, the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week. Coach Brownell has led his team to a three game win streak, with wins over Canyon Springs, SECTA, and Pinecrest Sloan Canyon. In addition to winning, Coach Brownell and Mater Academy hosted 10 teams for the Beast out East Flag Football Tournament.
Canyon Springs High School Head Coach Brad Alexander
The Las Vegas Raiders this week named Canyon Spring High School, Brad Alexander, the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week. Coach Alexander has led his team to a 5-0 start, including three shut outs. The Canyon Springs Pioneers defense has only allowed 12 points this season to date.
The Las Vegas Raiders this week named Arbor View High School, George Morales, the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week. In the opening week of the Flag Football season Arbor View went 4-1 including three shutouts. The Arbor View Aggies placed 2nd in the Lady Bulldog Invitational Tournament in Mesquite, the championship game their only loss this season (20-19 OT).
The Las Vegas Raiders this week named Skyridge High School head coach, Luke Neville, the Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week after Coach Neville led the Falcons to the inaugural Utah High School Girls State Championship with a 34-21 victory over Timpview High School.
