The Raiders drafted Hobbs out of Illinois in the fifth round (167th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He went on to play in 51 regular season games (38 starts) and one postseason contest with the Silver and Black. Hobbs' 229 tackles in his first 40 career games were the most by a Raiders cornerback since at least 1987. He finished his tenure in Las Vegas with 278 tackles (199 solo), 3.0 sacks, three interceptions, 14 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 19 passes defensed.
