Ashton Jeanty nominated for Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Year

Ashton Jeanty has been named one of six finalists for the 2025 Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Year award.

In 2025, the running back broke the franchise record for most scrimmage yards in a single season by a rookie with 1,321. While leading all 2025 rookies in that same category, he also led the rookie class in rushing yards (975) and recorded 10 touchdowns (five rushing, five receiving). Jeanty is the third rookie all-time with at least 50 receptions, five rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns, joining five-time Pro Bowler Alvin Kamara and Pro Football Hall of Famer Charley Taylor.

Jeanty won the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week award in December for his Week 16 performance against the Houston Texans in which he posted 188 scrimmage yards and two total touchdowns.

The other nominees for the fan-voted Rookie of the Year are quarterbacks Jaxson Dart (New York Giants) and Tyler Shough (New Orleans Saints), running back TreVeyon Henderson (New England Patriots), wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (Carolina Panthers) and linebacker Carson Schwesinger (Cleveland Browns).

The winner will be selected by fan vote through nfl.com/rookies, open until Friday, Jan. 30.
