Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and Chicago Bears running back Jordan Howard have been voted as the FedEx Air & Ground® NFL Players of the Week for Week 8, the NFL announced today.

The NFL fans have spoken and the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week results are in! Fans voted online and on Twitter to decide which quarterback and running back displayed the best air and ground performance last week. It was that simple, just like FedEx e-commerce solutions. The weekly FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Awards are also a win for local communities. Along with the player awards, FedEx is making a $2,000 donation in each of the winning players' names to the USO through FedEx Cares. The donation will be used to support USO programs that keep service members connected to family, home and country as they transition from military to civilian life.
