Despite the loss, the Raiders had several highlight-reel plays Sunday

As Head Coach Jon Gruden stated following Sunday's game, the Oakland Raiders aren't too ashamed to admit they were outplayed yesterday.

For three quarters, the Silver and Black were able to keep Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs' electric offense at bay, but the second quarter was where things got out of hand. All 28 of the Chiefs' points came in the second quarter, but not because of a lack of effort from the Raiders. Yes, there were a few miscommunications that resulted in big gains, but some of Mahomes completions were just well-placed throws.

The outcome wasn't what the Raiders were hoping for, but they still played well against the run, and had several highlight-reel plays; let's take a look.

Derek Carrier showed off the hands on this 25-yard pass.

Tyrell Williams goes up for a contested catch for the 19-yard reception.

LeSean McCoy didn't have much room to work against the Raiders front line of defense.

Hunter Renfrow will make a living of hanging out in the flat; watch as he catches this pass from Derek Carr.

For the second week in a row, Williams found the end zone; watch as he loses his defender on a nasty juke.

Carr doesn't scramble often, but No. 4 was determined to reach the first down marker on this run.

Tahir Whitehead has a nose for the football and he continued to drill McCoy all afternoon.

Carr found his new weapon in Darren Waller to become the Raiders' all-time passing leader.

Watch as Raiders legends congratulate Carr on his accomplishment.

Benson Mayowa has started the 2019 season on a high note, and he totaled 1.5 sacks against the Chiefs.

Waller shows why he's received praise for his athleticism with this hurdle over a Chiefs defender.

Josh Jacobs was efficient with his carries Sunday, and even busted out a 51-yard run.

Mayowa gets home to force a sack-fumble on Mahomes.

Here are all the highlights from Week 2.
