For those of you who weren’t at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on Sunday, didn’t watch the game on TV, or listen to the radio broadcast, thank goodness for the highlight article.
It was an eventful game between the Raiders and the Steelers, and there were big plays made by both the offense and defense. Derek Carr has been a part of several exciting battles during his career as the Raiders signal-caller, but Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh ranks second all-time in his book.
The Silver and Black took it down to the wire, but still managed to pull off the 24-21 upset; here are the highlights from Week 14.
Carr got the offense started early with a 30-yard pass to tight end Jared Cook.
Running back Doug Martin skied over the line of scrimmage to score a touchdown on the Raiders’ opening drive.
Carr fired a strike to tight end Derek Carrier, whose reception resulted in a 23-yard gain.
