How it Happened: Raiders 34 Jets 20

The Oakland Raiders defeated the New York Jets 34-20 in 2015 Regular Season Week 8 action. Here is how it all unfolded.

The Raiders won the opening coin toss and deferred. The Jets took the opening kickoff, and despite losing starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick due to injury on their first possession, they struck first.

It didn't take the Raiders long to board the Tay Train.

Knowing that wide receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree have caught 66 passes between them, of course it's Andre Holmes who gets the Raiders on the board.

After a Jets punt, quarterback Derek Carr tossed his second touchdown pass of the day, this one to Crabtree who ran over tacklers on his way to the end zone.

Carr then showed off the arm as he hit Andre Holmes on the 49-yard bomb.

And then Superman showed up again.

The Jets managed a field goal and the Raiders led 21-6 at halftime. The Silver and Black got the ball to start the second half. And then the Raiders Road Runner showed up. Meep Meep!

A couple of K Sebastian Janikowski field goals and the Raiders were up 34-13.

The Jets added a late touchdown but it wasn't enough.

And there was much rejoicing.
