Q:  What's the feel on offense for you?

Darren McFadden: It's an uproar around the team, people are looking forward to a new quarterback and a new offensive coordinator - so it's going to bring different things to the offense. The new quarterback is a great leader, great on taking control so we're looking forward to getting out there and seeing what we can put together.

Q:  It looks they are really making an effort to try and get you involved. Can you sense that, do you sense that finally you'll become more of the focal point of the offense?

Darren McFadden: I've talked to guys who played for Hue [Jackson] and they said that's what he's going to do, he's going to run the ball, so that's something I'm looking forward to He goes out there and he puts emphasis when he's out there and I'll be looking forward to that when the season comes.

Q:  How different is the mood here with the new offense and everything, I mean you've been around the guys in OTAS and everything is there a different feeling here?

Darren McFadden: It's a different feeling for everyone out here, everybody is upbeat right now, were looking forward to the team out there and putting it together.  Guys are coming out here with a purpose and practicing trying to get everything going.

Q:  What did you do in the off-season to just get away from everything?

Darren McFadden: Well, you can't get away too long, I took a little vacation but other than that it was home and back to working out.

Q: Is this offense markedly different, are we going to see a lot of things that we didn't see the last couple of years or is there a lot of similarities?

Darren McFadden: I think there are going to be a lot of similarities but at the same time we added a few things here and there.

Q:  How much did the approach you guys took last year in terms of the first four days of practice doing what you're doing here make a big difference to you?

Darren McFadden: I think it helped the guys on fundamentals by knowing what to do once they get out there and started going full speed and that I think its going to help them do the same this year.
