The Oakland Raiders off-season workout program continues at the team's Alameda, Calif., facility. WR Johnnie Lee Higgins has been spending his time in the weight room as preparations for the 2010 season are now in full swing.
Raiders.com caught up with the fourth-year wide receiver/punt returner out of UTEP for a Q&A.
Raiders.com: What have you been up to since the end of the season?
JLH: Nothing really much, just vacationing, kicking it and chilling with my family. And, now I'm back at workouts.
Raiders.com: How does it feel to be back at the facility?
JLH: It feels good, I needed this workout, it's getting me prepared for what's coming up.
Raiders.com: Do you like coming in early and getting a head start on the season?
JLH: Yeah, this is just a little jump start, just getting us prepared and getting us back in the mind frame of football.
Raiders.com: What are some of your goals for 2010?
JLH: Just to get into the end zone and do whatever is needed to help this team win.
Raiders.com: How do you think offseason workouts will help you achieve your goals?
JLH: Really, just to get more flexible and more elusive when I have the ball, and, when I'm running to get the ball.
Raiders.com: Any non-football plans for the summer?
JLH: I'm thinking about going up on a little cruise and kicking it with the family.
